oh, the places you'll go

Who loves the way God ignites the faiths and lives of His children through summer camp ministry? I do!      I love summer camp ministry, and I have a passion to serve at camp! After being a lifelong camper and on staff at Badlands Ministries, Medora, ND, I am excited that through prayer and christian friends, God has brought me to see Jonah Ministries in Trout Lake, WA. In seeking His direction and hand in my decision to apply for a position at Camp Jonah, I feel free and at peace (with much excitement and eagerness) for serving there, and I am looking forward to summer 2011!

God will work in mighty ways, and He will be present for this summer camp season, with prayer and encouragement from dear friends and family at home.

I am writing to ask of your prayer support while I am applying, and that you continue to pray for others at Jonah Ministries this year. Please pray that God’s servants will listen and feel the direction of the Spirit as He prepares our hearts, protects us as we come together, that His way is made know to new believers, and that His children develop their faiths and have a new hunger and spark for Christ.

During my fall break, Oct. 2010, I traveled to Jonah to see the camp. On my break, I learned about the camp, toured, and met camp directors and camp family. You can learn more about Jonah at www.campjonah.com.
